Welcome Zach Carey

What’s up everybody?! I’m Zach Carey, a senior writer for Locker Room Access who will be covering the day-to-day of JMU, SMU, and Tennessee sports to complement the awesome work of our recruiting experts. I’m a basketball scheme nerd who loves breaking down the X’s and O’s. Stay tuned for game coverage, analysis, film breakdowns, and more. 

My expertise comes from four years of managing SB Nation’s UVA website Streaking the Lawn and two years of writing for the Premier Lacrosse League. I actually got my start in the sports media world by writing for Locker Room Access - Virginia for a few years in high school. Now, I’m fired up to be back with LRA as we expand.
